Featured School Summary
William & Mary’s School of Education now offers a CACREP-accredited Online Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Counseling with a concentration in School Counseling. The program prepares its graduates to become effective, positive community leaders who possess the right qualities for counseling positions in elementary, middle, and high schools.
The curriculum is designed to help students think through both the developmental needs of younger children and the best mechanisms for supporting children dealing with developmental challenges. Graduates of the program leave with a well-curated portfolio of research, professional reviews, and the invaluable experience gained through a 600-hour internship.
Through structured challenges, collaborative coursework, and a focused practicum, students will focus on attending to the complete mental, emotional and physical development of children of all ages.
