The online programs at KU SOE are taught by the same nationally acclaimed faculty as their on-campus programs, allowing online students to enjoy the same learning experience as their on-campus counterparts without disrupting their teaching careers. The online program includes a rubric-enriched, competency-based framework, unique special education case studies, gamified formative practice, and memorable, interactive digital experiences, including acclaimed programs like the virtual school district “Jayhawkville” for future Educational Administrators and “The Reading Room” for Reading Specialists.
KU SOE offers 12 different programs both for those who do and do not have teaching licenses as yet. These programs include Master’s degrees and Graduate Certificates across three major areas: Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, and Special Education.
